NITTO is a self-vulcanizing cable joint for telecommunication cables. This type of joint certainly has a lot of advantages. No special tools are required for assembly, only a knife or scissors.
The joint is suitable for both direct and branch connections to any number of cables. It is a no-loss technology, it is possible to create a connection of any size of cable with any number of branches on all types of telecommunication cables and any outer sheath. The joint is suitable for both direct installation into the ground and use in above-ground network / suspension cables /. Since this is a self-vulcanizing cold seal process without the need for external heat source, this type of joint can also be used in gas and explosive areas.
For right choice of the size of the self-vulcanizing NITTO cable joint due to usability of a given number of cable “fours” we can use the following types of telecommunication cable:
F1 – Length 140 mm .................. (up to 25 fours)
F2 - Length 200 mm .................. (up to 50 fours)
F3 - Length 300 mm .................. (up to 100 fours)
F4 - Length 440 mm .................. (up to 150 fours)
