Sealing systems are used to seal cable entries into various buildings wherever there is an increased need to avoid penetration of water, moisture, gases and possibly fire protection. According to current requirements, the choice of an appropriate technology is governed.
.
DETAILED INFORMATION
Polywater® seals are intended to seal cables especially in pipework, but also in other cases. They allow sealing new and existing cables and pipes against pressure water, acids, oil products and other contaminants, as well as rodents. Polywater® cable seals will withstand water pressure within 10m of water head pressure (1bar).
The installation is quite simple and can be handled according to the installation instructions (see downloadable material), but we can also ensure the installation by our certified personnel at the customer's request. The main material of the seal is a two-component foam which, when injected with an application gun, is mixed through a special mixing nozzle between the two sealing dams and expands and cure in a few minutes. The foam expands even in the presence of pressurized water. The seal formed from the cured foam is solid, resilient and chemically resistant. After a few minutes, cables can be manipulated.

HAWKE transitions have been developed for applications where strong emphasis is put on cable safety and protection and are able to withstand these influences and environmental affects:
- fire
water
- gas
- chemicals
- smoke
- explosion
- EMC
- Noise
- Rodents
The most common use of HAWKE transitions is in telecommunications, military, tunnel buildings, shopping centers, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power stations, chemical, pharmaceutical and shipbuilding industries. The advantages of HAWKE systems are very easy and quick installation, dismantling and expansion of already installed transitions, a possibility of installation in a new building and in existing cable networks without the necessity of cutting or replacing cables (open version of transitions). HAWKE transitions are approved for fire protection installations in the A60, H0, H60 to H120 classes, for example by Det Norske Veritas Offshore Standards..
